Incisional Ptosis Correction
A teenage patient with thick, puffy eyelids underwent incisional ptosis correction with fat removal, achieving a beautifully maintained crease at 3 months post-op.

* Basic Information
· Female, teens
· Eye-opening strength: Slightly weak
· Skin laxity: Approximately 3 mm
· Skin thickness: Slightly thick
· Chief complaint: Puffy eyelids that swell easily; eyes appear small.
* Consultation
1. The puffiness in the eyelids appears to be due to excess fat — some fat removal will be necessary.
2. The skin is quite thick and shows noticeable sagging, so a non-incisional approach would likely cause the crease to loosen and become hidden fairly quickly. Incisional ptosis correction is recommended.

* Post-operative Progress
· She lives quite far away and is only able to visit occasionally. Seeing her at the 3-month mark, the crease is holding up beautifully. Wonderful progress — very pleased with the outcome :)
Consultations and procedures should always be performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon!
