Incision Ptosis Correction + Epicanthoplasty
Incision ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty case resolving eyelid asymmetry and constricted inner corners in a woman in her 20s.

* Basic Information
· Female in her 20s
· Eye-opening strength: asymmetric — weaker on the right side
· Excess skin: approximately 3 mm
· Skin thickness: moderate
· Main concerns: Bothered by left-right asymmetry. The inner corners of the eyes appear sharp and constricted.
* Consultation
1. The inner double eyelid present only on the left eye makes the asymmetry quite pronounced, doesn't it? In many cases like this, simply creating a crease on the right eye is enough to improve symmetry — however, this patient's right eye also had slightly reduced opening strength. She also wanted the crease to be more visible than the existing left-eye line.
2. Incision ptosis correction is therefore needed to achieve a symmetrically satisfying crease line.
3. For the inner corners, epicanthoplasty is needed to create a more open and softer appearance.

* Post-Operative Progress
Asymmetric eyes are, in truth, quite challenging to operate on. There are many variables both during and after surgery. It is therefore strongly recommended to have this procedure performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon. :)
